The next morning, Serena White opened her icy blue eyes and found herself inside a place she hadn’t recognize before. She glanced around to see that the there is dust on the raggedy, grey curtains and seven small beds with seven nightstands. Each bed had a name carved on it: Doc, Happy, Sleepy, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey.

“What strange names for people,” said Serena White curiously. “Especially for little people.”

“Who are you calling little?” a random voice responded.

In midair, seven small ghosts appeared around the bed Serena White was sleeping on. Serena White shrieked and hid herself under the covers with fright.

“Wh-who are y-you?” she stammered, to afraid to say anything more. She slowly pulled the blanket off her head to look at the ghosts.

“I’m Doc, the leader of the seven dwarves,” the oldest-looking ghost greeted Serena White. He wore a golden cap with glasses and had a short beard.

“My name is Happy,” the roundest and happiest-looking ghost. He had on a pumpkin orange cap with puffy cheeks and a beard an inch longer than Doc’s.

“I’m Sleepy,” said the tired-looking and the skinniest ghost. He had on a dark blue cap, his beards is long, and around his eyes are very wrinkly and dark. He suddenly closed his eyes and collapsed halfway through the floor.

“Wake up you moron!” the grumpy-looking ghost shouted angrily as he grabbed Sleepy by his beard and slapped him on the head. He had on a red cap and his beard is an inch shorter than Sleepy’s. He turned to glare at Serena White and scowled, “My name’s Grumpy so don’t even try to make me angry.

“Why do you have to be so cruel to her? She just met you,” the shy-looking ghost defended Serena White, his cheeks flushing a cherry red. His cap is dark green and his beard is longer than Sleepy’s. The shy-looking turn to look at Serena White, his red face turning a shade darker, and said, “I’m Bashful. Did I mention how pretty you are?”

“No, you haven’t,” Serena White replied politely with a smile. “But I appreciate the compliment. Thank you, Bashful.”

Bashful blushed.

“Hi, muh name is Sneezy,” said the red nose ghost. His beard is short like Doc and Happy’s and his cap is dark brown. He suddenly let out a sneeze or two.

“And this is Dopey. I wouldn’t expect to talk because he can’t. It’s a long story actually,” Happy pointed to the youngest-looking ghost. He had on a purple cap with two giant front teeth and unlike the other ghosts, he didn’t have a beard. Dopey nodded and grinned at Serena White to know that he was greeting her.

“So what brings you here to the Deadly forest?” Doc asked Serena White with curiousity.”This isn’t a good place for a young lady like you.”

“Yes, I know, but if I go back, my stepmother, the new queen of this kingdom, will try to kill me,” Serena White replied with anxiety.

“Wait a minute,” said Doc. “Aren’t you Princess Serena White?”
“Yes, I am.”

“Well, it’s nice to meet you, your majesty,” said all the ghosts in unison while bowing at Serena White.

“It’s nice to meet you, too,” she said with a smile.
