Okay, this is a contest for Crash Bandicoot fans that I recently made up on my own. The rules are:

• If you want to enter the contest, comment or note me and I’ll place you on the list
• Once you’ve entered the contest, copy the character list below and paste it in your journal (check mark any ones you’ve completed)
• Each character has to be drawn separately (yes, you can use digital art as well)
• The characters can be in color (or you can leave them black and white)
• No tracing or plagiarizing of any kind (I will disqualify you if you do)
• You can draw the headshot or full body of each character
• When you post each drawing in your gallery, the title has to be the name of the character and what number they are on the list
• No pornography of any kind
• No excessive gore or inappropriate language
• No offensive/racist content of any kind
• You may add a copyright or signature on the top or bottom of each drawing
• You can draw the characters in any order, just as long as you complete them
• When you’re done, tell me and I will add “complete” next to your name on the list
• Entries are due on 6/18/08 (If you think you won’t be finished by this time or won’t be online for a while, please don’t bother entering)
• The first person to complete their 55 drawings, wins 3 giftarts from me; 2nd place wins 2 and 3rd place wins 1

Today, I got to skip nineteen minutes if Physical Education (the worst class ever) so I could donate blood (at my school, you had to be sixteen or older with a photo ID or proof that you're old enough). I was really nervous, but I thought it was cool because I just saved a person's life.

First, they took my pulse and blood pressure and made me take a survey to see if I did drugs or had sex. Then, a guy took me to a desk, asked me a few questions, took my temperature, and poked my finger with a needle to get a blood sample (to test me to make sure that I didn't have diseases). Next, they gave me crackers and a gatorade and made me wait for ten or fifteen minutes.

Then, a lady placed me in a chair, made a marking on where she was going to place the needle, and placed the needle in my skin. It felt like a bee sting the first few seconds, but luckily, I got to hold on a plastic thingy to squeeze on. Fifteen minutes later, some of my blood filled a small bag, the needle was taken out of my skin, and a pink bandage was wrapped around the mark (the bandage colors were pink, blue, green, or purple).

Then, I was taken to a room where I got to sit down and pig out on snacks and drinks. I know I'm describing everything and I know most of you don't care, but donating blood is worth it. Not only can you change a person's life, but you can also cut class for an hour or two.

Anyway, I'm very tired, so I'm probably going to read or sleep.
